Mr. Smith has over 21 years of engineering, project management, and business management experience in the oil & gas & petrochemical industries. He began his career in a chemical manufacturing environment, supporting maintenance activities as well as capital construction projects. He has spent the last ten years involved in the management of projects in the oil & gas pipeline industry, including the construction and rehabilitation of pipelines, compressor stations, processing plants, and truck loading facilities.

Mr. Smith is a licensed professional engineer in Louisiana and Oklahoma, and also has his Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). Mr. Smith obtained his Electrical Engineering degree from Louisiana State University in 1988, and his MBA from Oklahoma Christian University in 2007.
