Ms. Desai is doctorate in Cryogenics- a field of low temperature refrigeration. She has begun her career in a teaching field in 1995. Since then she has gained significant experience in teaching in various subjects of thermal engineering like refrigeration and air conditioning, heat transfer, power plant engineering, heat exchanger designs etc. She is a certified energy auditor by Ministry of Power, India. She has authored many research papers, technical articles and prepared several technical reports. She is a member in technical societies at regional and national level. She is on panel of consultants at various technical bodies.
