H. Wayne Harper, PE Hydrogen is seen by many as the energy carrier of the future that will lead to efficient and clean fuel for use by utilities and especially transportation systems. Natural gas and coal have the potential to be affordable resources that can produce the large amounts of hydrogen needed in the near to mid-term for the Nation to begin transition to a hydrogen economy. This course details the following major research and development efforts, initiated by the George W. Bush Administration, that are intended to lead to this hydrogen economy. The depth of information and detail within the course is comprehensive and well suited for engineers, consultants, and environmentalists seeking to initiate or broaden their understanding of the impending hydrogen economy. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials. ![]() NY PE & PLS: You must choose courses that are technical in nature or related to matters of laws and ethics contributing to the health and welfare of the public.
