This course will alert the reader of the tactics that are commonly used to deny and delay payment to the contractor. The course discusses strategies for achieving prompt payment for the work performed. By being prepared and anticipating the mechanisms the owner will employ to cheat the contractor and countering them with successful tactics will greatly improve the chances of being paid on time and in full. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course.
This course is registered with AIA/CES as a continuing education course for architects. Courses registered with AIA/CES are acceptable to all state licensing boards for architects.
