This course discusses the highlights of the process known as outsourcing. That is, the contracted delegation of certain business activities to non-employees. Small business tasks fall into two categories: those that are considered core, such as those technical activities you perform as an architect, engineer, or land surveyor, and those that are considered ancillary, such as bookkeeping, tax reporting, and possibly marketing. Outsourcing provides an opportunity for the small business owner to displace those tasks that are not his trade or passion.
This course includes a multiple choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials.
* This course is acceptable to all the state PE boards except the New York State PE & PLS Board.
