Ethical Guidelines in Working With Government Contractors

Mark P. Rossow, Ph.D, PE Retired

This course, which is based on a U.S. Office of Government Ethics publication, provides an overview of the basic rules that executive branch employees must follow when working with contractors. Using scenarios based both on hypotheticals and on actual cases, the course covers some of the most commonly occurring situations. The course would be of interest both to engineers employed in the executive branch of the government and to engineers employed by government contractors who need to know what are the rules that must be followed by their counterparts in the government.

This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of course materials.
