Matthew Stuart, PE, SE This one-hour online course discusses the process of corrosion that can occur between two dissimilar metals in the presence of a conductive solution such as moisture. It is important to have an understanding of the potential for this process so that precautions can be taken when designing and detailing connections between different metals. This course will enable the designer to avoid situations that provide the most potential for corrosion and subsequent deterioration of the connected metals. This course includes a quiz at the end. ![]() NY PE & PLS: You must choose courses that are technical in nature or related to matters of laws and ethics contributing to the health and welfare of the public.
