O'Hearn, PE This 15-hour course presents the rules for the practical safeguarding of persons during the installation, operation, or maintenance of electrical supply and communication lines and associated equipment. These rules contain the basic provisions that are to be considered for the safety of employees and the public under the specified conditions. The course materials are based entirely on the “National Electrical Safety Code C2-2012." The students are required to have a copy of or have access to a copy of this publication. This course includes a multiple-choice quiz at the end, which is designed to enhance the understanding of the course materials. ![]() NY PE & PLS: You must choose courses that are technical in nature or related to matters of laws and ethics contributing to the health and welfare of the public.
